Transgender Identity Development Brochure
Updated: Oct 18, 2021
Transgender is a term used for people whose gender identity and/or expression is different from cultural expectations based on the sex they were assigned at birth.
Being transgender does not imply any specific sexual orientation, therefore, transgender people may identify as straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, etc. (HRC, 2021).
I've provided a brochure describing the stages of identity development for the transgender community based on Bockting & Coleman’s 2007 model of transgender identity development.
